gstone3@aol.com- My name is Alex And I have been fishing for crappie fro the last 15 years. I have had alot of success over the last couple of years with combining feeders along with planted cover. I use a 5 gallon bucket and place about a gallon on quick crete and I let it cure. Once the crete is dry, I drill 1 inch diameter holes staggered along the sides of the bucket. I then drill 1/2 inch diameter holes in the lid of the bucket(approximately 25 1/2 inch diameter holes). After this step is complete so is your feeder. I use ol' roy dog food in chicken and rice formula (because its cheep) and then I place the lid on the feeder. I tie a rope to the handle of the bucket (feeder) and place right beside planted tree tops. I use a old coke bottle to mark the feeder and to retrieve the feeder for refilling. The feeder usually needs filling about once a week! I get these buckets at burger king and kristals. Ask for thier pickle buckets. These are free and usually are real plentiful. Hope this helps. Alex
