i fish around scottsboro (tennesse river and backwaters) and since the end of october, have caught LOTS of crappie, up until about 2 weeks ago, that is. they seemed to just quit. is anyone else out there having any luck? if, so point me in the right direction!

Don't feel bad! I haven't fished the areas you mentioned, but the extremely cold weather has made it really hard to find crappie anywhere lately. If you know the location of any springs, whether deep or shallow with deep water access, these would be prime places right now. BTW, if you know of any springs like this LET ME KNOW! (smile)
