I've been away from fishing for awhile but am slowing down the pace, getting my priorites straight, and updating my equipment. I am wondering about the purity of the water in the lakes off the Tenn-Tom and if the fish are safe to eat. My wife is dealing with cancer and we need to avoid all the pesticides and other contaminates we can so it is really important to know. If anyone could give me some information or a source I could contact for further information, I would be very grateful. Also, I live in the McCalla area and would welcome any comments about lakes nearby. Thanks.
