I caught 14 nice crappie & 3nice bass Thursday in treetops.I went back today and couldn't find them. I caught them all on
minnows, they wouldn't hit a jig at all.

Crappie are biting on bankside of Cedar Creek near
Russellville, Alabama.I have caught around 80 to 90 in a
spot using just minnows.have tried jigs,grubs, and other bait,but minnows are hot.i have fished this area for 25 years
and Cedar Creek is the best place for bank fishing.if ya had a boat,the best place is (airplane hollow) near Cherokee called
Rose Trail .
