does anyone in scottsboro check this message board? if so, i`d like to know if you are catching fish right now and what location? i`m not totally striking out, but they are few and far between at my regular holes...

I've been catching them at South Salty on the left side of the bridge by the tree. I've been using dark blue tube skirts.

you should ease out from under the bridge. the crappie are coming out of the channels in preparation for the spawn. try along grass lines , rocks, boathouses etc in the 2-6ft depth. i have been scoring big #s in these areas. if too shallow to fish jig, then try a minnow without a weight or float. this method is killer!!!
