Anyone ever fished Cedar creek near Russellville, Ala. or
Airplane Hollow near Cherokee, alabama? I have always
had good luck at either place. Cedar creek bank fishin and
boatin at the Hollow.I always use minnows at Cedar Creek and
use grubs of different colors with a minnow at airplne hollow
trollin back n forth across the slew in hollow.

I fished Pickwick, airplane I think off Bear Creek? Is that where you are talking about? I was their last tues. & wed. , we trolled & found few crappie, most fish were deeper in the creeks I think.

I fished bear Sat and did very well, although no large fish. I don't think there are any crappie over a pound in the whole place!!! About 45 9 1/2 inchers, tho.
