Thinking about a crappie trip to Logan Martin. When the best time
to go, Where to stay, best way to fish for them. Would like

I agree , pell city is a good place to go. Try lauching at the town and country grocery store/gas station and go just past the boat docks to the old road bed. Caught some slabs there. Also there is a nice point across the lake to.

Thanks for the info from both of you..This is my first trip to that lake and I couldn't find much info on the internet. I will give them a call and see what I can find out.

Pel City, Alabama is your best starting point. There are motels, restaurants, and launch points. You might try the Pell City Chamber of Commerce (205) 338-3377.
