If you don't mind spending a fair amount of money for lodging, DoubleHead Resort is a great place to stay. The Resort is also located in Town Creek which has some very good fishing as well. Another nice place to stay would be The cabins of Joe Wheeler State Park located on Wheeler Lake at the Dam, these cabins are older and very plain, but it is a very nice clean place to stay 256-247-5461. As far as fishing goes on Wilson be careful around the Dam and the tailwaters just below the dam. I would stay in Town Creek Myself. Good Luck Fishin
