Hi, I live about 5 minutes from Big Creek Lake in Mobile, Al. I've fished so many times with no results. Does anyone from this area have advise that could help me locate the crappie. Thanks in advance.

mike, i don't know about crappie in big creek, but my
cousin and i landed a few really nice bass along the
shorelines back in february--was my first outing out there. The
advantage for bass is the relatively clear water--i live in
central mississippi and the water is so muddy all you can effectively catch is crappie on jigs.

Mike,
I've fished Big Creek before, and the only way I could catch a mess of Perch was to troll with a small Rapala in all the pockets around the lake. I've caught some huge fish using this method, but have never caught a good fish on minnows or jigs.Using this method you can also pick up a few Big bull Bream. Good Luck
