I'm from that area too. Best fishing is the Mobile river delta. exit 31(??) off I-65 down hwy 225 to cliff's landing (county ramp, good access) fish sloughs and creeks off main river. GET A MAP of the delta. easy to get lost. minnows around abandoned houseboats and treetops in the creeks. good luck
also, the county has a lake in escambia county, also hines lake has fishing and boat rentals for small fee. been some nice bass and some crappie caught there. the state folks have a phone there, give them a call for pointers.

If you are from Brewton a good place would be Tensaw. On I65 it is exit 45 I believe. Its been a while since I have been down there. We always go throught that Indain reservation to get there. It is exit 45 or 54. When you exit off go west. Maybe soem of your folks will know where it is.. I do alot of my crappie fishing up around Camden on the river and also Eufaula on the Chatahoochee river. Bluff Creek... Hope this helps....
