fished the main river with a 4" pumkin seed lizard w/chartruese tail we fished mostly the channels and sand bars. By nine o'clck we had landed 2 four pounders and missed a near state record (spider wire broke). we did get checked by the game warden and were fined for not having our trolling motor batteries tied down in those da%@n plastic boxes. $43.50!!! i guess it was worth seeing a bass big enough to break spider wire. Better luck next time.
