Hi.. first time visiting this site and message board. I have seen these auto scalers made out of drums with nial holes punched in the sides so the inside of the drum is rough like a cheese grater, also seen them made out of expanded metal bent into a drum. The drum turns and the fish slide around inside the drums against the " graters" and it peels the scales off, the ones I saw hooked up to a garden hose that constantly kept water spraying in the insdie of the drum to keep all the loose scales washed out. I was amazed at how well it worked. I am planning on building one but cant find anyone who has one I can copy around here. Does anyone have one of these with a pic or even simple plans on how to build one? Any info appreciated... Sam
