I am wanting to do some fishing on Weiss during this week. Too cold up here in Indiana. Never been to Weiss but would like to hear the fishing report and weather temperatures for the time frame mentioned. All help will be appreciated. Thanks!!!!

Not in reference to fishing but I went to a town in Indiana called Santa Claus . Do you live close to it? Its on the southern end. Anyway its been bad fishing weather her also.Cold, rainy, windy you name it.Take care.RICKY

Hello Rick, thanks for the reply. I live about an hour drive from Santa Claus, IN. I've played golf there a few times. I actually live in French Lick, IN. It's a nice area. I guess I'm going to go to Biluxi, MS in the week mentioned to golf instead of fishing Lake Weiss. I'd still like to get down to Weiss maybe in another month or so.

French Lick? We have some friends that live there. I've been there several times to fish Patoka Lake. It is one of my favorite lake to fish with all the standing timber. Anyway, we are from Alabama but try to fish the CUSA tournamnets on Patoka every year!!!
Try Neely Henry instead of Weiss Lake!!

Hello Callshy, thanks for the reply. The tournament on Patoka this year is April 24th I believe. I don't get into tournament fishing anymore. I used to hit the bass circuits some about 20 years ago. Now, it's just fishing for relaxation. If I find some crappies here on Patoka, I'll let you know. Turkey season starts here on April 21st and that takes priority for me. I'll look into Neely Henry and may take your advise. Thanks again for the post...Tick
