Kerr Lake is 50,000 acres of water. There are more fish in Kerr Lake than you can shake a lure at. Our waters are full of largemouth bass and striped bass. We host numerous fishing tournaments each. The first ever $100,000 Forest Wood Open was held here on Kerr Lake, hosted by my tourism office here in Henderson, NC, Vance Co.
